I had a mixed stay at Palace Inn in Conroe. The room, a Deluxe King Room, was clean and looked exactly like the photos from the website. The shower pressure was fantastic, which made my mornings much better. I appreciated the mini-fridge and microwave. they were spotless. However, the internet was frustrating. It had constant connectivity issues, and the TV cut off every hour, requiring me to call the front desk, but my calls never went through. I expected better service in this regard. Additionally, the front desk clerk was a bit argumentative when I requested clean sheets due to some stains. It seemed like there was a lack of communication about room cleanliness. Other amenities like a pool would have made the stay even more enjoyable. Although I appreciated the cleanliness and shower, the issues with internet access and bedding really impacted my experience.

I had an amazing stay with a room that was extremely clean and well-maintained. A fantastic shower that made my mornings energizing as I was preparing to explore the beautiful Heritage Museum of Montgomery County just under 3 km away and the charming Lone Star Monument and Historic Flag Park, which was only about a mile away, making for lovely walking destinations during my weekend strolls.
